I’m a self-employed designer/illustrator living and working in Bristol. I’ve also just completed an MA in Multi-disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England.
My main interest is in low-tech image making techniques: rubber stamps, monoprints, collage and hand drawn type. I’m also interested in combining print and stitch, and I’m currently working on series of embroidered rubber stamp prints on calico.
In the final year of my MA studies, I concentrated on making artists’ books… I found this was an ideal combination of graphic design, illustration and printmaking. I love pattern and colour, and I’m drawn to depicting collections, often inspired by the natural world.
